How much is your commute costing you?

Submitted by Lee on Thu, 2010-02-11 12:44

In my career, I have spent years at a traveling job, other years working in Dallas but with significant commutes, and now I work at home.

Work at Home Tips: Buying a House

Submitted by Lee on Mon, 2010-01-04 18:47

We went looking for a new house 2 1/2 years ago.  We were content in our small one story, but with the foreclosures in our area I knew it was a good buyer's market, and a good time to upgrade.  We found a short-sale house twice as big in a better neighborhood, and because we got a great deal we only pay $500 more a month.

Yes, I shower...of course!

But no more than once a day.  I used to shower sometimes twice a day- once in morning, and once later after a workout.  Showering twice a day might be fine for some people, but for me I think it is just a waste of very valuable time.

Submitted by Lee on Thu, 2009-12-17 17:50

I am a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki and his Rich Dad books.  He has learned the principles of wealth creation, and is eager to teach others.  If you haven't heard of him before, I recommend starting with his first book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

In one of Robert's books, he gives 3 simple steps to wealth:

1. Think It

2. Learn It

3. Do It
